    Good job by Coach Short and the crew..

    MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Kings Mountain High girls softball team finished with a 3-0 record in their pool in an Easter Week tournament by beating Chartiers, Pa.., 1-0, on Thursday.
    Jordan Childers (5-3) pitched a two-hitter in blanking the opposition. She struck out seven and didn't walk a batter.

    Childers and Kristyn Cogdill provided two hits apiece for the Lady Mountaineers. Kelisha Goodson's RBI single in the fifth plated Hayley Hoyle with the only run of the game.
    Kings Mountain returns to Southwestern Conference action Tuesday against R-S Central.

    Those Childers girls are tough.. Jordan has been walking in a large shadow and it looks like she is making a name for her self...Great job ladies...
