Congrats to the Charlotte Blaze Black 14u - NSA State Champs!

    Just wanted to congratulate all of the ladies of the Charlotte Blaze Black 14u for going 7-0 and winning the NC NSA 14u "A" State Championship!

    After meeting a very talented NC Challengers team for the second time on Sunday in the Championship game, the Blaze Black girls came in to the dugout in the bottom of the 7th inning faced with a 7 run deficit.
    Instead of hanging their heads and settling for giving it another shot in the IF game, the girls came into the dugout FIRED UP and determined to score 8. From top to bottom the hits kept coming and scoring 8 runs in the bottom of the 7th is exactly what they did!

    Coach Marko did a great job of harnessing all of their determination and turning it into focus. Great job all around!!!

    I guess all the coaching secrets passed in the Quail Hollow concession stand are paying dividends for some Blaze teams. :cheers2:

    Outstanding finish, glad we stayed. Congratulations to everyone with the Blaze Black! Those girls showed a ton of Heart! Losing was not an option for them.
