    Catawba Valley Storm 18 Under traveled to Birmingham Alabama this past week for the NSA "B" World Series. Coached by JJ Chaulk & Shane Johnson and assisted by new coach Natalyn Blanton!

    The only NC team in the tournament.
    These girls played their hearts out and finished 4th out of 48 teams!

    GREAT JOB LADIES.... WE ARE SO PORUD OF YOU

    Catawba Valley Storm finshed 4th in the NSA 18u B World Series that was held in Alabama.
    These where some of the best fields that we have ever played at.
    We went 9-3 for the week, the ladies played their hearts out and never gave up. Thanks to Coach Blanton for all the help.

    We want to wish Gina Loflin the very best on the next level, college softball at Walter State. Thanks for your leadership, it has been a great season.

    We also want to wish Coach Natylan Blanton the best on the next level at UNC Charlotte. Thanks for your leadership and coaching talent to the girls this past week. We could not have done it without you.

    Class posts about CV Storm...

    ....by all. Props to 030 for his input. Very seldom do we see comments that consist entirely team realted. Being humble is no doubt a gracious, and admirable trait up CV way. If you guys don't mind, can ya'll fill us, TBR, in on some of the highlights. I'm not the only one who would love to hear about your individuals who make up a great squad. Marlin.

    Congrats Shane JJ and coach Blanton CV Storm has been a class act for years under these guys guidance proud to say I know this bunch .Good Luck down the road and once again CONGRATULATIONS you deserve it !!!!

    i appreciate your group letting me sit on the bench at the last tournament i saw you in. had a riot!!!! great bunch of kids and very aggresive on da bases!!! now Shane, how did you get Nat to become a coach??? great kid, great parents and Bubba is a trip!!!

    way to go, good rep for NC softball.

    Our team is a young 18u team, we could play 16u with the expection of 2 players. Most of our girls come from the CVAC conference area.
    Our team is not full of superstars, but we play as a team. But we do have good solid players that love the game, and they never give up.

    We played 12 games for the week and we had
    1-Homerun, 2-Doubles, 1-Single 3 RBI's (Macie Lovette - Bandys 2008)

    Congrats to the coaches and players of the Catawba Valley Storm!! My daughter has had the opportunity to play for Shane and JJ every now and then and they are both great coaches and the girls are a very dedicated and hard working group. We do want Gina Loflin to know that we are VERY proud of her. She has accomplished a lot over her TB years and we know she'll do great at Walter's State. We plan on making a special trip to Tennessee to watch you play. We love you like you were one of our own girls!! Congrats Again.
