    CONGRATULATION TO MEGAN ON HER COMMITTMENT TO LENOIR -RHYNE UNIVERSITY MEGAN IS A GREAT STUDENT ATHLETE. MEGAN HAS BECOME A GREAT TEAM LEADER. WHILE AT ALEXANDER CENTRAL MEGAN HAS EARNED 2 TIME CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE YEAR 1 TIME PITCHER OF THE YEAR AND 2 TIME ALL STATE. MEGAN HAS PLAYED WITH THE SUN DEVILS UNDER THAD FOX, THE CV STORM UNDER SHANE JOHNSON AND THE ALEXANDER CUBS UNDER TONY JONES AND DEBBIE (HER MOTHER). IF YOU KNOW MEGAN YOU KNOW HER LATE UNCLE COACH CARL ORR IS LOOKING DOWN WITH A BIG SMILE ON HIS FACE. GLAD TO HAVE YOU ON MY TEAM KID.

    Well said Storm

    I have had the pleasure to know Megan and her family for the last two years. I recently witnessed Megan display the highest level of character I have ever seen by anyone. I will share this with those of you that are close to her.. come see me.

    Megan, looking forward to seeing you finish this year as a Cougar. Can't wait to watch your collegiate career. Go get em' Smokey!! We love you like our own kid. Very proud of you. Keep at it.

    I am honored to know the Laxton's. Her dad Alan is a hard worker and a great role model for the community. I know where she gets her work ethic from. Congrats to the Laxton family for helping Megan reach her goals! LR gets a great one!

    Congrats!!

    I couldn't agree more with everything said above. LR is getting one great kid! If there was ever a player who put team before self it's Megan. Hope you get that ring! Looking forward to this summer.

    I might over use this saying, but it really works for Megan, "If you look up team in the dictionary, you'll find Megan's photo". I couldn't be more impressed!!!
