Congratulations to Alex Martin from Providence High! It is a great reward and honor to a player to have the baseball skills and academic grades which enables him to be sought out and signed so early in the year! I’m sure that it is also a load both off of the player's and parent’s shoulders to have this behind them at this point of the player’s senior high school year.

Good luck to Alex with Head Coach Jack Leggett at Clemson. I’m sure that Alex will be a great asset to the Tigers baseball team.

Charlotte went at him hard. Wish he had stayed in town.
