    54th pick of the MLB draft by the Padres!

    We wrote a story on Brett 5 years ago when he was still in middle school. Jeff Schaefer told me he was going to be great way back then!

    Congratulations.....

    ...to all involved. Mom & Dad, coaches, trainers and friends, but most of all to the player for being devoted to developing his skills to a level that earns being selected as a top pick.
