Cool Swing Analysis called DartFish

I saw a pretty amazing system the other day called DartFish (silly name).

This system captures videos of the batters swing and then you can put the batters swing analysis side by side next to that of major league hitters with similar swings and see the differences between you and them...somehow it synchronizes the swings so that you can see each part of the swing frame by frame for comparison and improvement. You can also save your swing videos from when you are really hitting well and compare it later on when you hit a slump and see if there are any technical differences.

Most people learn more effectively if they can see what they are doing - this allows it very easily.

I wish this was around when I was a kid... of course back then we were still using vinyl to listen to music...

 

When you buy the cheap version for $750.00 please let me get a copy of it......

I saw it at Carolina Batting Center (CBC) in Charlotte.

They do it as a part of the lessons over there...and they know how to use the software which does a lot of things, but requires somebody a lot smarter than me to use !
