Core Athletics Showcase Team Tryouts

Showcase team tryouts to fill open spots will be August 24th 11am at Concord HS.

The team will start their fall schedule first of September with showcase tournaments, local weekday games and weekly practices.
We will be looking for athletes that have a passion to play the game, are coach-able, and willing to work hard with collegiate goals academically as well as on the field.


Our schedule this fall will be centered around 5 tournaments along with weekly practices and mid-week games. We found that these mid-week games helped players with their consistency of mechanics and bigger improvements with their skills; resulting in a better show at the tournaments.
The heart of this team is to see improvements in the areas of speed (60 yd time), velocity (pitchers), bat speed, and understanding of the game. These areas are measurements the college coaches' look for to rate players. Games then show the character and instincts of the players. We then work along side each player to find the right fit for their college experience.
