" Cory Tilton of Cary, NC (Green Hope HS, UNC-Charlotte) has been named as a finalist for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, and would very much appreciate your vote as the selection process enters the final phases. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence - community, classroom, character and competition. An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School®, the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities. Lowe's, an official Corporate Partner of the NCAA, will announce the winner June 24 at the College World Series® in Omaha.

Cory has had a great career at UNC-Charlotte and is a model of what hard work and perseverance can do. Here’s a link to a recent story about Cory from the UNC-Charlotte website and another link to a write-up about his nomination. There are two ways to vote for Cory and you can vote once per day from each PC or once per day through Facebook. Here are the links to vote. Vote by PC Vote through Facebook "

Many thanks to everyone who has voted for Cory, he remains in the lead as far as the fan voting goes. With about two weeks left to go (voting ends June 5), continued voting is still important!
