Don't see where we disagree

This thread was about people having to decide if the cost of travel ball in pursuit of a scholarship was worth it. My assertion was that playing 8U or 10U TB will probably have little if any longterm benefit with respect to the scholarship goal. You state you're not doing it for this reason . . good! We agree. If its worth the $$ for the competition, fun etc. then have at it. I just don't want people feeling pressured by the myth that if their kid isn't playing TB at seven years old they are damaging their scholarship chances. I don't think you'll ever see Donna P or Lisa N at these tournaments; at least I hope not!
