    Courtney Feldon (North Lincoln), freshman shortstop for USC-Upstate went 3-3 vs. Stony Brook today, and hit 2 dingers (4 RBI's). She was also 1-3 with an RBI vs. Kent State.

    Go Courtney, we're proud of you, and oh by the way, Morgan Childers (Kings Mtn.) was on the mound for the win vs. Stony Brook!

    Feldon On A Tear
    Freshman shortstop/second baseman Courtney Feldon has come on at the plate over the last week and a half, raising her average to .352, tying Shay Slater for second on the team, and leading the team with a nine-game hitting streak entering the Furman doubleheader. The nine-game hitting streak ties Heidi Gibbs for the longest streak of the season. She also ties Slater with a team-best 20 runs scored on the year. In the last nine games dating back to the start of the Tar Heel Invitational on March 8, the freshman from Denver, N.C., has hit .524 with 11 hits and six RBIs to lead Upstate at the plate.

    One of best hitters ever out of NC and Moe is not bad as pitcher either.

    Courtney is now second in average and I believe maybe the RBI leader and closing in on HR's
