How about the CPC making it interesting early in conference games??

Reagan beats North Davidson - Connor Leonard continues to hit like crazy
Mt Tabor beats Davie - St Clair throws a gem....I believe he had 12 strikeouts or something close to that
West Forsyth beats RJ Reynolds - 5-2 - Reynolds once again seems to be scrappy club...Welch gets the most out of what he has.

Piedmont Triad very competitive as well........continues to be the underrated of all the leagues.....NW Guilford, Ragsdale, E. Forsyth, Glenn, SW Guilford...people on TBR better start noticing and giving due respect to some of these clubs....gotta hunch that one or more of these teams will go deep......

    TBR outreach

    Tony,
People on TBR would love to hear more about other leagues. Truth is TBR was started several years ago here in charlotte. naturally most of the players we know are from here.

we would love to know more about your league but someone from your area has to tell us about the boys.

aguyyouknow is absolutely correct. When I first start visiting this board, them big city (Chalotte) boys act like they never heard of East Rowan baseball. They got a few computers in Rowan County, folk started posting and now theys a Rowan Co team in the Observer seemingly all the time. I give Langston a lotta credit for that.

Over the years, TBR has been a tremendous outlet to tell baseball folk about other baseball folk. Which is why you have so many newspaper folk from different areas who frequent this board and get updates on teams/players from TBR.

    Thanks

Thanks to both tj21 and aguyyouknow about the info about TBR as I'm new to the board and didn't know the history. Really wished that more teams from our area would travel to Charlotte or vice versa so that we could see the talent level outside the Triad.

It pains me to say this because I enjoy our CPC conference, but truth be told I believe the Charlotte area teams are stronger year in and year out and it's why we need to play those teams to know where we need to get to if my assessment is correct.

Trying to get more CPC people on the board for discussions

Big game tonight with Davie v West Forsyth. Hope to make the game.

It's nice of you to compliment the Charlotte area schools but I've seen Davie and West Forsyth. Both are as good as anybody.

I know about Haack and Orth and Lassiter and others in that area. Top level talent all over that area. We love it when you give us your writeups and box scores! So get on it. What's better than honoring these dedicated athletes? So........

Give us the standings and catch us up here in the QC. We are interested for sure.

North Davidson leading Mt Tabor 4-0 when game was suspended. ND went back to back to back for the second game in a row. (Clyde Tate, Andrew Mayton and CJ Rice). Chase Mitchell with RBI single before delay. Game will resume Monday with bases loaded and 1 out for ND.
