    Far enough fair that it hit the fence just beyond the foul pole & bounced left. Couldn't have done that if it was foul.

    Tough call though. There was a 3 man crew working the game, but the 1st base ump was positioned (appropriately) behind the mound. So the plate ump had to make the call....& it was hooking hard (like my tee shots do when they aren't supposed to).
