Man what a year this has been in the CPC 4A. With 1 week to go its down to 3 teams.
    EAST ROWAN 8-1
    DAVIE 8-2
    WEST FORSYTH 7-2
All three teams control ther own fate as they have to play each other one more time. Also, to give the conference creditability Davie, East Rowan and Mt. Tabor all won the Easter Tournaments that they were in and West Forsyth finished 2nd to N.F that was ranked 2nd in the state. It all starts tonight with the WF and ER game. Its going to be fun this next week!!! Anyone care to roll the dice?:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Things got even tighter last night after West Forsyth knocked off East Rowan in 8 innings in Clemmons. In the top of the 8th Ross Steedly hit a bomb to center to put the Mustangs up one run. In the bottom of the 8th John Stamper lead off with a double a walk to Greg Holt then a double to left by Tyler Manring tied the game up. The Titans added two more walks and the game was over. What an exciting four innings of play.

The race is on with one week left should be a great week of baseball.

West Forsyth vs. Davie on Tuesday. (Davie has a 14 game win streak)
East Rowan vs. South Rowan on Tuesday.
Mt. Tabor vs. RJ Ryenolds on Tuesday.

North Davidson vs. West Forsyth on Thurs.

Davie vs. East Rowan on Friday.

What a great way to end the season. Everybody said this conference was one the best in the state before the season started and I think it has lived up to that throughout the season.

    East Rowan 8-2
    Davie County 8-2
    West Forsyth 8-2

    THREE WAY TIE FOR FIRST!!!!

West Forsyth took care of East Rowan on a saturday game that was a classic. Starting in the 4th inning east went up 2-0. West scored 1 in the 4th and 1 in the 5th. Top of the 8th Titan pitcher Greg Holt had 2 outs and East's Cathcer Ross steedley steps up to the plate. From what I had heard Holt had hit him 4 almost 5 time in the series.... Holt shook a pitch which you dont see very much in high school with coached calling pitches....amd steedley made him pay.....(By the way who is the pitching coach at west forsyth? from the article it made it seem like Bankhead is but I know thats not the truth I know what bankhead looks like...) West then got it started when stamper hit a double into right center...Holt then intentionally walked brought up a pinch hitter one number 8 dont know his name.....he struck out for the first out.....then tyler mannring hit a double to tie the score....another pinch hitter (15?) came off the bench for an intentional walk....which brought Gonza who drew the walk to win the game. Basically it made the CPC the closest race in state...3 team 2 seeds.....ooo what a fight... wild card is a long road in the play-offs from the looks of the brackets...who is going to be doing this after the week :trophy: ?

Three teams tied on the last week with only 2 play off spots and maybe a wildcard. Then you have a young Mt. Tabor team that has good coaching and was hot early and North Davidson who was a pre-season favorite by a lot of folks. They had some early injuries and have lost some close games. Anyone of these teams could get hot and win the play offs next week or maybe even one of the other teams in the conference. This season has been a blast and the play-offs look to be one of the best ever in the CPC. I love it...lets play ball!!!
