    are you reffering to their short porch in right? If so, you could make a case for West and Davie players when talking about short fields. Although it is funny to say a kid hit one on the football field at Tabor and it went all of 350 ft.

    But coaches see that...they have one of the best group of coaches (Pope, Herndon, Meadows, Welch, etc..etc..) to judge talent. I know Pope, Meadows, and Welch are or have been a part of Region 5 state games at one point or another. These guys will take everything into consideration when making their selections.

    With that said though there will always be one or two deserving guys who get left off, but that happens everywhere

    coaching styles

    what do y'all think of the different coaching styles in the cpc? pope and herndon seem to be calm and laid back for the most part in the games i have been present at*** while welch gets into it quite a bit. hightower seems to be pretty energetic as well. also anyone have reflections from 1st round games and results from tonight?

    Davie is 22-3. They have won 18 in a row. Have not lost a game since March 14. Congratulation on a well deserving year!!!

    I would like to congratulate Davie on the first place seeding by winning the conference and tournament. I would also like to congratulate East and West for making it into the State Playoffs. Good luck to everyone and I hope all three can make it deep.

    you will probably be able to go to the nchsaa.org website saturday night and see the brackets. if west gets a wildcard they will probably go to north forsyth but could be sent to davie??? who knows
