less than 2 weeks and the fun begins. can't wait, going to be a great conference this year. any team can make a very good argument for their team to win. a lot of great players and coaches in the cpc this year, and next. looks like most of the teams are loaded with juniors and sophomores. can't wait to see all you guys down the road. good luck to all the teams

 

Playoff Spots?

Since the CPC has 7 teams this year does anyone know if the conference gets 3 bids to the playoffs as opposed to their usual 2??

No one is talking about Davie remember they bring back 5 returning all conference players and they have 3 players that have moved or whatever you wanna call it into Davie. What are the chances for them? Also what does East Rowan and Tabor bring to the CPC? Tabor and ER didnt look bad during the fall when we played them.

 

No one is forgetting davie and their 5 all conference players (as many as anyone else????????????). Who have they had move into davie other than the Johnson kid from West Forsyth. I had heard a catcher from South Meck had moved in but was deemed ineligable????

No doubt that Davie will be stronger this year, so will North Davidson, so will South Rowan, West will be strong also with only 2 All Conference Players returning.

Add To that Mt Tabor and East Rowan, and you have one heck of a Conference.

PS. Don't count out West. A lot of pitching!!!!!

 

Does does have 3 new players. Brandon Johnson from W. Forsyth, who is a pitcher, the kid from Mecklengerg, who is a catcher and is eliglible to play, and a new kid who just moved here from Texas, who is a pitcher, but he is a sophomore, so I am not sure if he will be varsity or JV

how is he eligible at Davie if he wasn't at South Meck?

 

I am really not sure. All I know is that a student heard him go up to the coach and tell him that he was eliglble, grade wise, but I really don't know. I just heard that he has never been able to play high school ball because of his grades and that why he always just played showcase. But I'm sure coach Herndon will not let him play if he isn't eligible.

So far from what I have read is that Davie, West, and ND will be competiting against each other for the conference title and that no one knows what Tabor, East, reynolds, and SR will bring to the conference. If we are saying that everyone will be competiting then why is no one talking about them?
