Give me time tools i had to stop for a minute

    3. West Forsyth - This team has been at the top for some time poy candidate Greg Holt will carry the load John Stamper maybe the best athlete in the conference . Watch out for Lefty Chad Jarvis he can be dangerous Don't count this team out yet. They Just need to sure up that middle infield and they will be fine

    4. East Rowan - Don't count the mustangs out Brian hightower brings alot of energy to this team. East has dominated in 3A baseball what can they do in 4A remember Rowan County is all about Baseball. Ross steedley maybe the best catcher in the conference ,Sophmore Roland at short and dont forget about cy young and Lyerley. This team could slip in there

Ok guys, I'm an outsider with no interest in the CPC whatsoever, but since there's not much discussion on SPC/NPC 3A teams just yet,,, you guys have the best reading to date.

Based on the returning players that I've read about so far, and based on what I know from the 2 Rowan County teams,,,,,, the final standings of this league looks clearly like a 3 team race. I see the CPC finishing:

    1) North Davidson
    2) Davie Co. (great team led by Vogler & Co, but I give ND's great pitching Hunt & White the nod here)
    3) South Rowan (apparently not much info on South on this board, just remember "ole tj" called this one)

IntimidatorCoach,,,, can I get an AMEN?:jumprope:

    5. Mt.Tabor- This team is not where it wants to be they are about 1year away from being around the top. poy candidate Stephen Andrews will lead the way Andrews had a great year for Winston-Salem legion last summer,Michael Velton will have to be good on the mound and Matt Batts will have to log some important inninings for the Spartans.

    6. South Rowan - Want get the opportunity to choke this year Brown, Baysinger, Elliot will lead the way, Maybe there fans can win them a game or 2

    7. Reynolds- Dusty Johnson will shoulder the load, Last years J.V team does not bring much to the table for Doug Welch.

    Yep...

Isn't East Rowan in this conference this year?
You can never count them out no matter who's conference they are in...

Intimidator,,,, yes East Rowan is in this league, and yes East is always tough in baseball,,, but based on what both teams (SR & ER) have returning, I gotta give the edge to South.

    CPC Score of Interest

    Watauga 4
    Daive 3

The Pioneers dropped the second game, I believe against W. Rowan, 5-2. Not that you can ever read much into scrimmage scores, but in the second game the Pioneers played mostly backups.

With yesterday's weather maybe the three teams should have agreed to play real games. We may not get weather like the last two days for several weeks. Who pitched for Davie?? Who looked good?

I can't wait for the season to get under way. I am sure there are several more scrimmages this week before the regular season get underway next week.
