    North Davidson continues to slump with a loss to Tabor last night. Actually this was the best game I've seen them play personally (didn't see the Randleman game they won). Tabor really played a solid game last night and impressed me. They could make some noise in league play. They were pretty impressive at the plate. Eight hits off of Andrew Hunt and it could of been 10 or 12. North made a couple of really nice plays on hard hit balls. ND has been struggling in two very important phases of the game (timely hitting and defense). The defense was pretty solid last night, but the timely hitting was still not there. They are striking out way too much. Some of the problems they are having come from the fact that freshman shortstop and leadoff man Levi Michael is battling a hamstring problem and is limited to pinch hitting only. Conference season is upon us now and if they don't turn things around soon, they could be behind the eight ball quick. I think they have the pieces of the puzzle to contend, but they just need to figure out how those pieces fit together. We'll see.

    Nine, don't forget the North Davidson is also missing Ben Redmond (who started for North & Lexington Legion last year). Ben broke his arm & is out 6 weeks. So 2 of their top 6 sticks are hurt...

    I think this team will be super strong later. Like you, I'm hoping it's not too late.

    Good addition there UK, I almost forgot about Ben. I should be ashamed of myself for forgetting about a fellow catcher. Starting to show my age I guess.
