Good win by the Chargers. Timely shooting will keep you in a game, and Butler's 3 point stroke did just that. It was my first trip to Butler and the school is very nice. They also had a small but lively student section that stayed on Big Spikes, but he didn't mind. Crest played well offensively most of the night. They did a much better job in the second of defending the 3. Crest had Maddox with 24, Spikes with 22, Bruce Smith with 17, and CJ Wright with 10. Butler had Sam Ivey with 23 and Demontez Stitt with 20.

    Other observations...
-Could the rim on one side of the gym be much softer. Of course it was the rim that Butler was shooting on in the second half. That thing would give if air hit it. You couldn't help but tell a difference.

-Have never seen somebody dunk with one shoe, but Dion Malacahai did it. He was having trouble with the shoe, and Crest got on a fastbreak. He went up with the ball, shoe went flying, and he put it home. Also good to see Arthie Phillips with a dunk too.

-Over the last few weeks Rayshwan Roseboro has really improved his free throw shooting. Gotta give this kid and the staff credit for working so hard with this young man.

-Chant of the night by the Butler student section at Big Spikes..."Please don't eat us."

Chargers going to Reynolds on Thursday and it should be a great game.

When you guys come to Reynolds make sure that 1) You don't bring any ineligible players and 2) You don't bring any baseballs or something stupid thinking that you are going to throw them on the floor after the game. Thanks.

Bill Ellis would not play any ineligible players. Will Reynolds lose 3 games in a row? Should be a good game. Will be interesting to here Reynolds student section during this game.
