What's real funny about crest and ineligible players is that most of those players aren't exactly taking core academic classes. Pathetic! Two year minimum suspension. Someone should call for an immediate investigation from previous years and revoke their state titles. Crest should do all it can to improve its reputation as a football factory to a great place for academic excellence.

After the investigation they should go to the other Cleveland county schools as well. I'm sure Burns, Shelby, et al could use some house cleaning.

That wouldnt be a bad idea, Im sure you could do the same for Independence and Richmond Senior. But if you did and found nothing, boy yer sure gonna look like a dumbass.

    Such a shame!

Why doesn't somebody figure these things out earlier? It happens every year two or three times, whether its American Legion baseball and other sports. Why was kid ineligible? It is a really harsh penalty. Somebody besides the players should be held responsible

Your reason is probably pretty simple...Some kid didnt meet academic requirements.

This should be a lesson to all schools that academics come first and it's the primary reason one goes to school, not to win a state championship. Im tired of seeing kids hop from school to school just to win a meaningless athletics championship. It would be very interesting if one jumped from school to school because of better academics!
