CREST FREAKING CHARGERS!!!!!!

    What a job by the Chargers. They saved the best performance of the year for the last game and have a 3rd state title in 9 years. These kids played with heart and turned this thing around after the South Point game. Coach Kirby now has that ring to along with his unreal record of 76-17 (I think) since taking over the reins of the Charger program. Just so proud of this team. Like Coach Lloyd said this should go down as the best "team" in Crest history.

    How about Crest and South Point one more time? That would be fun.

    WAY TO GO CHARGERS!

    By the way, during half-time Rick Strunk said it was the best half of football he's seen played in a state championship game.

    JUST A DOMINANT PERFORMANCE, IT WAS THE BEST FOOTBALL GAME I THINK I HAVE SEEN A CHARGER TEAM PLAY, AND I HAVE SEEN 12 YEARS WORTH OF GAMES!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO A WONDERFUL TEAM AND TO A FANTASTIC COACHING STAFF!!!!;) ;)

    This team was truly a rare bunch and will go down as my personal favorite.It was truly a privilage to witness what the coaching staff and players were able to accomplish this year.What this team accomplished is a testament to what teamwork and shear determination can produce.The Crest community,fans,students staff and players will never forget this season,go ahead and put an asterix next to this team so it will never be forgotten as the boys who came together through adversity,dersertion,critism and truly became champions.....:applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:

    win a few state championships and wc can have more interesting threads.....point system around here!

    things work themselves out with a coaching change through support, positive attitudes and self movitated student/athletes dedicated to football. sounds like the players need to take some responsiblity here......its all for you players.

    For us in cleveland county it begins in first grade........and taught, learned and repeated for years the fundamentals of the game and whats expected of them. Coaches have changed at Shelby and Crest in recent years but the players havent missed a beat, encourage the players to work on their own, set the example and remember Talk is cheap!
