    SOFTBALL
    CVAC: Defending champion Fred T. Foard went 17-1 and finished one game ahead of second-place St. Stephens and three games up on third-place Hibriten.
    Foard begins this year's conference play at Hibriten on Tuesday at 4 p.m., and St. Stephens opens at Hickory.
    Other league openers Tuesday are: Bandys at Patton, 4:30 p.m.; West Caldwell at Maiden, 4:30 p.m.

    Hitters- (BH)- S. Carver 1-3 scored only run, Racheal Chapman 1-3 Double to the fence.

    NC goes to 1-2 overall, 1-0 CVAC. Next game Th. 4:30 home vs Maiden
    BH goes to 0-1 overall, 0-1 CVAC.

    Thanks we have foard later. I know the hibriten girls are hitting the ball really good and it looks like foard is also. Any info on them.

    * Tailynn came out due to injury(Knee?) in the bottom of the 6th, maybe someone can confirm for sure what is wrong.

    NC moves to 2-2 overall and 2-0 in the CVAC. NC plays at Bandys Mon, at Hibriten Wednesday, and home vs Foard on Friday.
