D2 Baseball scores

    Lets post the scores we get from this weekend. All I know is Wingate lost a tough one today to Erskine, 2-1. The Bulldogs led through 8 and a half, but the bullpen couldn't get it done and gave up two in the bottom of the 9th. Tough loss for the guys but they get back at it again tomorrow with a DH starting at 12.

    Wingate went 1-2 on the weekend at Erskine, losing Game 2 1-0 and winning Game 3 8-3. Pretty good weekend for the bulldogs, even though they lost two to a tough Flying Fleet team. Wingate will open at home this Wednesday against Chowan, with Kutztown from PA coming down for a weekend series.

    Mars Hill goes 0-3 at Georgia College. MHC loses games 13-7, 6-0 and 8-4.
    Rough start on the road gets tougher as the head to 3-0 Belmont Abbey on Tuesday. By the way, their new field is now under 7 inches of snow. First home games are the 15-16 of Feb.
