Daniels Middle School - Conference Champs

    I have to give it up to my girls at Daniels Middle School (in Raleigh) going 14 - 0 and winning the conference championship out right for the first time in school history (went 13 -1 and were co-champs in 08).

    We had a great pitcher in the circle, English Dean who had over 150 K's in 11+ games of work (also hit 2 HRs), but it was truly a team effort all season with huge defensive plays and clutch hitting at key moments of several games. They beat the perennial conference champs 2-1 and 3-2 in two very tough games against a very good team. Both games went all 7 innings (there is an 1:30 time limit for Middle School games here).

    Congratulations to all of the Lady Blue Jackets!

    Cheeze, there isn't a thread for Middle School so I created this one. Feel free to move if needed. Just wanted to give my girls a well deserved congratulations.

    Congratulations!!

    Hope this eventually helps the Cap 8 become a little stronger.
