    David Elder in 2003

    Elder interviewed for the North Stanly job, but turned it down for personal reasons. His first head coaching job was at South Stanly, so he had ties to the area. I hear he will be assisting at LR this fall.

    Yep, he got hired as an assistant at Lenoir-Rhyne College for this year. He will also work in community relations for the school. Check the release at their Web site. www.lrc.edu
