Davidson Day...too much hype?

    Went to the Davidson Day vs. Country Day game tonight...left when the score was 42-8 Country Day (before halftime!) Seems like the highly touted QB from DD rolls up big stats vs. small Christian schools, but finds tough sledding against better competition. Also saw DD get pounded by Providence Day. I know those schools are more established, but the hype seems to have overshot the runway a little bit. He can definitely throw a nice downfield ball, but most of his stats (completions and yardage) were picked up tonight on quick hitters behind the line of scrimmage in the flat and the receiver or back made good yardage after the catch. As a HS junior he will be 19 after the first of the year....

    He is definitely a tough kid as he received some huge hits and bounced right back up, and put his down and drove for tough yardage near the goal line.
