Dead period

    where is the rule about August being a dead period

    It's located toward the back of the High School Athletic Assocation Handbook.
    It states the different dead periods throughout the year. The first dead period will end today. Coaches can have workouts now, but can only work with 1 less of a full team. For example softball would be 8, basketball 4, etc.
