    A scrimmage is all you can call it. There was no umpire behind the plate which left the catchers to make the calls.
    Kannapolis pitching was pretty good . Defense made errors that cost all of the runs that Ashboro got and the same for all of ktowns runs .
    It's going to be interesting in the NPC .

    K-town - Piedmont game was postponed Friday.

    Thanks for the info guys. West Rowan takes on Asheboro today in a scrimmage game. Maybe we can compare notes later. Or better yet come on out to the game. Starts at 1:00 hopefully.

    AC Reynolds 6 TC Roberson 1. Game was played Friday afternoon. FYI, Cameron Maybin for TC is still on the basketball court.

    One player does not make a team. A quality team can win in the absence of any single player. It doesn't sound like it bodes well for the TC depth this year. It's easy to pitch around 1 guy -- 2 or 3 is another story.

    Was this a scrimmage or a game Mud?

    I'm sure this will come as no surprise to the folks in the NW4A. Being so many miles away, we don't get an opportunity to watch the players as much.

    Give us a run down - It sounds like ACR had a good day on the bump too.

    it is early in the season and although vance pitchers had alot of walks they also had i think 16 strikeouts which for their first game isnt that bad. both teams will have to pick up their hitting if they want to be conference contenders.
