Directions to State Championship Site - Five County Stadium

    Here are directions to Five County Stadium, taken from the stadium's website:

    From Durham/Chapel Hill and points west: Take I-40 East to Exit 289 (Wade Ave.). Take Wade Ave. Extension to I-440 North (Beltline) to U.S. 64 East, to U.S. 264 East, to Hwy. 39. Turn right on Hwy. 39; the stadium is on the right.


    Since the state championship seems to always be played in the east, we'll have to bring the West to them!!! Myers Park's "10th Man" makes a HUGE difference!!

    Better directions---- follow the scent of freshly made Chocolate chip/ oatmeal cookies on Friday heading NE out of Charlotte...not sure of the time of departure though

    Best Directions---- listen for the beating of pots and pans out of Charlotte, but follow the cars of the cowbells...pot and pan group may get you lost, but the cowbell Mustangs are experienced with Zebulon.
