Thanks Changeup2. My daughter is in the photo for the 8 under. I want to share a story with you regarding the girl with the mask on in the photo. After the tourney, my husband took the girls to get pizza to celebrate winning the tournament and this little girl played her best game ever. Amanda did a great job with tropies and there were cameras everywhere. When we got to the restaurant, the little girl asked my husband "what was the score" and he told her 22 - 10 and she then asked "who won". Thanks for the photos, the girls will love seeing them. We forget sometimes how young they are.

    Great Story, Pics

I remember when my daughter thought the ball game was a minor detail to go through to get to the goodies at the concession stand. Fantastic memories. Now your DD can see herself on TBR !!! Thanks changeup.

It is so funny to read this as I had just mentioned to my friend this weekend at how I miss those days of watching my dd bounce on and off the field and having so much fun that the score never mattered and she had to ask who one. Now, when she goes out on the field she looks like she is going into battle. How I miss the days when ice cream soothed a loss at the field.....

agree softballmom, we went to the world series nsa games here a couple of years ago and our 18u team was playing on a field next to a group of 8u or 10u players who started the game off with a team singing of "take me out to the ball game". put tears in my eyes with former memories and our girls lined the fence to sing the song with them. this is what its all about, jmo

Most important years of travel .

Kids that play 10u or 8u learn the most about team work, winning and losing and the LOVE of the game at this time. Its GREAT ! Coaches and Parents need to make it that way, it is the future of the softball ....
