    It was great to see your son get into the game this past weekend. Did a super job and hope to see him in more this season. Team played well after the first game...took one game for the bats to come alive!

    How's those new bats doing in the cold weather? I know my son has already broken one, hopefully it won't be an issue once the temps heat up.

    There were three home runs hit in the three game series between the two teams. Several fly balls would have been out with the old bats. Because balls hit with the new bats all sound like a thud it is impossible for me to tell what has been hit well until I see the reaction of the fielders.

    Hot Corner Dad---- I sent your boy a text this afternoon after checking their website and saw he got a couple hits in his first start. Proud of him.
