.....and NCSU recruit is waxing opponents on the mound and at the plate.

I met DJ when he was like 8 years old and he could throw and hit the ball at the highest level against older kids AND he'd step up to the plate and take pitches from some of the best fastpitch softball pitchers ( most are pitching in college now). Don't laugh, if you don't know how tough it is to hit a ball going the equivalent of 90 mph from 40 feet.
DJ has quick hands and power at the plate. The leftie is also rocking on the mound....just this week he struck out 16 in a game.
Props to a quiet, humble, very talented athelete!

fish...DJ and Jay Gause....possible teammates next year at NC State, faced off this year in our Easter tournament. Game was 8 innings and Durham won 2-1....scouts were everywhere as this was the marquee game of the tournament. DJ has a bright future ahead of him!
