    Since DB only knows 4A ball in the western half of the state, we figured we'd set up his own pickem contest....

    Here are the matchups:
    Independence @ North Forsyth
    Los Angeles @ Cincinatti
    North Davidson @ Chapel Hill
    NW Guilford @ West Forsyth
    Atlanta @ San Deigo
    East Forsyth @ Person
    AC Reynolds @ Providence
    NYY @ Baltimore Orioles
    Central Cabarrus @ Alexander Central
    East Mecklenburg @ North Mecklenburg
    South Mecklenburg @ South Caldwell

    Here are the rules ... pick the winners ... if you pick a pro team, you are disqualified.... All correct picks are awarded 2 points, except for DB who get's -1 points for everyone else's correct pick. DB get's 5 points for his correct picks.

    South is a good start

    Braves cannot possibly be wrong in the South-South game, since he picked South. But I think we all know which one he meant, and it ain't the South from Sawmills.

    That's a great first round matchup after the dogfight they had last year. Caldwell will surely be motivated.
