North Gaston has had a great year but they have seemed to slip a little lately. They have a team loaded with Seniors and Juniors and will be a tough team to beat in the playoffs.

Top Pitcher- Jake Buchanan (Jr, recieving alot of interest from D1 and D2 schools currently. Play's for the On Deck O's during the fall and summer).
Good make-up as a RHP and throws anywhere from 85-90 mph).

Top Hitters- Spencer Robinson (Sr. recieving alot of interest from quality D2 program's, may have already committed to Wingate Univ. but not sure on that). Brett Williams is another good hitter for the Wildcat's, (Sr. alot of speed and can swing the bat well, D2 and Juco recruit who may be going to Pfieffer or Spartanburg Meth).

The Wildcat's have had a very good year and are well coached. Thier kids play hard and get after it. They will have a home game and their fans are a big asset, it is truly one of the few home field advantages in high school these days.

The Wildcat's walked through the Big South 3A/4A during the first half of the yr. I think they were actually undefeated in conference play untill the last game of the yr. Their record in the Big South was really impressive considering they are in a conference with South Point (17-6 and will most likely get a Wild Card bid in 3A), Ashbrook (4A automatic bid), and East Gaston (struggled at first but actually won the conference tourney, 4A school).

The Wildcat's will be a tough team to beat in the first round if Buchanan is on the hill.

Should be a good game between N Gaston and Charlotte Catholic

I had heard Brett Williams was going to Spartanburg Methodist but I don't see his name on this year's roster. Anyone know where he is?
