Does Having a Girlfriend Help or Hurt Baseball Performance?

My son's girlfriend has been the best thing for him. She understands the committment that it takes to play at a high level. Not to mention she is a pitcher that has won 51 games for our high school softball team. One thing that has been true since the beginning of time , if a young man does not have a girl in his life , he will spend a whole lot of time out looking for one!

 

All I have to say is if a player isn't all there when he puts on the clothes and walks inside the fence, he doesn't need to be there!

 

I've never understood how a sport could be more important than friends.
