...means no pay and lots of Bud! But for the life of me, Bud and all, and my ECU quality education both in school and at the party, HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THIS POST IS SAYING!....therefor, such as, potatoe chips, laundry, flat tire repair??????,,,,HUH?.....

 

sballguy, I don't know what you think you know but...

The main reason the college team is playing the Olympic team is we sought to play it at UNCG and thier nice, new compex. That is the reason that was discussed among the NC ASA people who are paying to bring the Olympic team here. I was actually the person in charge of locating a nice facility. The possibility of playing it was actually discussed with several college coaches and UNCG's coach at the Cardinal Classic last summer. Do you know something that we don't?

I think this is evidence of what Guru said earlier. There is so much suspicion, jealousy, spite, etc it this stuff that even with the best of intentions, even the most benign question or well intentioned effort can and will come under fire. It hurts my heart when I think about the good things that I have seen started in the past that were only short lived or crushed before getting a fighting chance. There is so much good in what we as a softball family do. But there is so much more that could be done but never gets the chance because we, I mean as a softball family, make it so much harder than it has to be.
