Drop for middle schools in Cabarrus County?

    Does anyone know the drop for bats at the middle school level in Cabarrus County? My son is in 6th grade so we have another year, but I'd like to start thinking about it. Please only answer if you are 100% positive - would hate to buy a bat this summer that is not eligible for use in the spring of 2013.
