    Let's post some of the results of the NC teams that are playing in the Dynamite Thursday thru Sunday.

    Lady Blues scores for Thursday:

    Lady Blues - 3
    Gold Coast Hurricanes, FL. - 3

    Lady Blues - 8
    Mobile Thrillers - 0

    Good start for the Blues. Hope all NC teams play and show well.

    Blues beat Bayside 5-0 this AM.

    Pitching for Hurricanes Gold: Taylor Beam, Brittany Wood, Hayley Harris

    Pitching for Thrillers: Boomer, Kelly Beres, Hayley Harris

    Pitching Bayside: Kelly Beres, Taylor Beam, Hayley Harris.

    Boomer hit a two run homer against Hurricanes and shut out Thrillers for four innings.

    Okay, won't go into details but Cobras took 1 on the chin yesterday, senior gals having to shake off that beach trip. But they are back now playing Cobra ball. NC teams are really making a great showing defeating Ga, Fla, Ala. teams. Shane & CV Storm really showed out well for 1st time here. As of 11:30 tonite Card- Mchone were down 4-1 to a strong Columbus Spartan team, who finished 2nd here last yr. Triangle Lightning defeated Vienna Stars Gold 4-3, & will play Cobras 11:00 Sun. Cape Fear Storm were leading Ga Fire 2-0 when we left, 6 th inn. Cape Fear Storm ( younger team) made a nice showing defeating some good teams. Lady Lightning playing great ball also. NC teams have showed out well in the single elimination tour. Have seen many college coaches to name a few: GT, VT, UNC, UCLA,Ga,USC, Western Carolina, App St, Elon,JMU,Auburn, many more D1's, & D2,D3 schools. Good showing of coaches. Weather has been great, cooler than usual. Like I stated earlier NC teams are really looking good !! To bad some have to play each other. Got to go to bed now, Goooooooooo Cobras !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Agree with Softball Nut. NC teams are showing very well at Dynamite vs. teams from other states. Lady Blues, although in a slight rebuilding mode, played well this past weekend. Lost a tough extra inning, one run ballgame to the Jacksonville Players to get bounced out of the bracket. Kind of a strange bracket. If you won your first bracket game, then lost, you were bounced from tournament. If you lost your first bracket game, then won, you actually got to move on. Haven't seen that type of setup before.

    Anyway, here are the scores for the Lady Blues:

    Blues - 3 Gold Coast Hurricanes (FL.) - 3
    Blues - 8 Mobile Thrillers (AL.) - 0
    Blues - 5 Bayside Blues (MD.) - 0
    Blues - 3 Triangle Lightning (NC) - 2
    Blues - 6 Florida Ultimate Gold (FL) - 0
    Blues - 6 Jacksonville Players (FL) - 7 8 innings

    Final Dynamite Record: 4 wins, 1 loss, 1 tie

    Good luck to all remaining NC teams in Dynamite on Sunday. Look forward to a great ASA State tourney next weekend in Rock Hill.
