Pete Jones aka The Skylight Inn is the BEST BBQ I've ever had. Kings is Ok on the right dy but Wilburs in Goldsboro is a close second.

I lived in Kinston for a couple years and Kings never did the trick for me. I would have to agree about Wilber's in Goldsboro and throw Bill Ellis BBQ out there (Rocky Mount?).

 

wilburs is pretty tough to beat, but down in our little hamlet of beaufort, we have rolands bbq. good stuff. vinegar ribs are definitely the best anywhere and his bbq is delicious.

all this talk about bbq is making me hungry. c'mon lunch time

 

Bill Ellis BBQ is in Wilson. Rocky Mount used to have Bob Melton's, but it closed several yrs. ago.

I attended the Senior Awards night at East Rutherford last night. The most impressive thing about this team is their character. Sure they are all blessed with baseball talent, however, last night every Senior was recognized in some way for their academic efforts.

I thank God for the opportunity I have been given to watch you grow and mature into the fine young men you are today.

As you approach this weekend remember your biggest fan, Wanda Berry, will be watching from Heaven. Due to her physical ailments she struggled to get to our last few games. She will have the "Best Seat In The House" this weekend.
