What pitching does Providence have coming back to be battling it out with the pitching experiance that A.K and Weddington has coming back. They lost all pitching from last year did they not

At a minimum they'll have Richie Shaffer and Will Helms who both throw mid 80's with several pitches. There are several juniors who will provide quality innings as well.

Must not be a Butler fan!!

I think I can see next season being just as much a battle as this season was. No one will come close to being as dominant as Butler was this past season in the SW4A. IMHO...I can see AK being the team to beat next year.

Providence also has a good lefty in alex wood. He throws hard with good offspeed!

In some ways this conference will be even stronger. There are more teams closer in talent. One team that has not been mentioned that will be very good is Myers Park

And Coach Bobby Simmons would probably like to keep it that way. Still, with some very strong hitters returning to the lineup (Holberton, Overman, Stevens, Wade), the Mustangs will look to be in every game. There are some position issues, but pitching remains the biggest question mark. With Tom Girdwood graduated and heading for Elon, Simmons will look to rising senior lefty Nate Cudney to lead the rotation, complemented by junior Chris Overman and several others yet to be tested at the varsity level. Cudney will deliver - no doubt. If the rest of the pitching staff comes through, MP should be in the top three.
