    Fresh in from the RM after party!! Congrats to the Gryphons you've earned this opportunity!! Gonna be a long trip to South Point tonight after a long night but its gonna be fun!!

    Good luck Q and all of RM. This group of guys deserves this opportunity.

    And Jim Leggett is my POY. One day when the time is right I will let everyone know why. And it has nothing to do with how good he is on the hill.

    The Dream Continues

    I can't even begin to put into words how proud I am of this team. They have overcome so much to get to this point and now this great group of kids are reaping the rewards.

    Baseball Britt, we called this back in the Ideal warehouse in the Summer of '04. Maybe not the exact cast of characters we thought it would be, but we called it. Now let's get the minds right, good the wood out, and finish the deal...

    Actually, I do know why and I agree. The young man has a heart of a lion and the courage to match. But like you, that's all I will say.

    Coach 27, I can't help but think what might have been this year for both of us. As happy as I am right now for our guys, there are some who won't get this opportunity who are more than deserving. Some of this would be easier if we didn't like each other. The saving grace for me, as I think about the boys I know who are done, is that thank God they are still going to play next year.

    I am so thankful that I have so many great friends in this game. Even though we fell short of one of our goals I can still be excited and proud of others accomplishments. I can not wait to see these kids play next weekend.

    Congrats to Rocky Mount

    I knew Rocky Mount would be in the hunt and here they are! They have all the ingredients...exceptional talent, quality arms, hard workers, superbly coached, and they're hungry. Even though I hoped it would be us winning the eastern finals, I'm very happy a classy bunch like RM is representing the East next weekend.
