The same thing happens for SC when they play at home. I also noticed that the same thing happened to Mcdowell when SC played there. After the girls game nearly all of Mcdowell and SC's fans left

 

This year the crowd seems to stick around for ACR until at least half time. Most of the time the crowd is there for the whole game. Tuesday night was unusual for this year. It had to be the game on TV.

with all this talk about how the crowd support, I'm interested in seeing how many we have tomorrow night at McDowell. It's going to be a big night at MHS as we celebrate the 30 year anniversary of the only McDowell boys squad (75-76 Titans) to make it to a State Championship Game. From what I hear, there will be people from many different states planning on being in Marion for the special presentation. 1975-76 was the first year that McDowell was in the 4A classification, we loss to South Meck in the Championship Game that year.

 

There was a nice crowd and McDowell played well all across the board.

 

At Watauga we are the exact opposite. Full for the JV guys then everyone leaves to eat during the girls game and comes back for varsity guys.
