    First of all congratulations to Coach Hightower, players, parents and fans of the Mustangs. It's a proud moment in history for Coach Hightower and the Mustangs.
    www.NCPiedmontSports.com was the only internet website to carry the 3A Championship live. We covered it play by play.

    Will Johnson

    Saw East Rowan's final season stats today and game across something that was amazing concerning junior left handed pitcher Will Johnson.

    Final Stats

    IP-- 51 2/3
    W-L-- 7-0
    ERA-- 0.54
    Hits-- 33
    K-- 61
    BB-- 9

    This is very impressive, but the most amazing thing is that Johnson only allowed 4 extra base hits (3 doubles and 1 HR) all year, including the state playoffs when he pitched in every game. That's amazing.
