East/West All-Star Games

    Wingate, NC
    will begin at UNC-Greensboro on Thursday at 5:00. It will be a best 2 out of 3 series and will be completed on Thursday night. The Regional tournament featuring the underclassmen will begin Friday morning at 9 am. Come out on Thursday and watch some of the best Seniors our State has to offer as they compete in the last high school event of their careers. It has been a great experience watching and hearing about some of these ladies for four years. I know they will put on quite a show of outstanding softball ability. Make plans to stay all weekend and see the high school stars of the future as they compete in the Regional tournament. Hope to see you there!

    i am there Thursday and returning Friday early afternoon for the district tournament and debating with others on spending the nite to watch Saturday's action. you gotta pick and choose your games(battles) and R&R that coincide......:biggrin:

    Even with the TB scheduling conflicts, this will be an incredible display of NC softball talent.

    the risk they take, the love they display and the joy in return. hope it makes sense.

    East vs West

    Public tryouts were held , I think 2 -3 times. Any senior could apply & try out. Best from the West vs Best from the East . 2 out of 3 games....
    I heard that there were about 60 total try out for the west team..
    Don't know about the East... Should be fun to watch

    good luck to the west sr. team!@ boy are they loaded with pitching!!!!!!!!!!! ward childers and glossen. good luck to coach fox and the district 7 underclassman team. achs has 5 girls on this team!!!!

    the west srs beat the east sr`s 5-0. morgan childers started and went 3 inns and ashton ward pitched the last 4. congrats !!!!

    Game 1 Score

    Don't know details but West wins 1st game 5-0. Believe Morgan Childers throws 2 inns, & Ashton Ward takes it from there.
