    UPDATE 9/20/10 1 SPOT LEFT

    5-Time State Champion East Rutherford HS will host an Easter Tournament at McNair Field (Forest City Owls Summer League) for the 3rd consecutive year. Due to a recent cancellation there is 1 spot available. (11-29-10)

    Date     : April 25-28, 2010
    Site : McNair Stadium, Forest City NC ( Apx. 1 hour from Charlotte, Hickory and Asheville)
    Number of Teams : Eight (East Rutherford (2A), RS Central (3A), Chase (2A), South Caldwell (4A), Brooke Point (3A-VA.), Hickory Ridge and Wautauga are currently committed, leaving 1 open spot.
    Guaranteed Games : Three
    Cost : No entry fee
    Concessions : Yes

    Folks, if you want to play in a great tournament at one of the best fields and stadiums in NC..this is a tournament that you want to be in. There something special playing in Forest City

    Thanks Braves. This is a quality tournament on one of the best facilities in the state. Glad to see the board still going strong.

    This is a GREAT tournament! We (Central Cabarrus) played in it last year and Coach Reynolds and his coaches at East Rutherford did it up right. Owls Stadium is one of the nicest playing surfaces in the Carolinas, including the minor league stadiums.

    ER Facilities

    If you happen to attend this tournament, you may want to check out the new facilities at East Rutherford. I live across the state currently, but went by ER while home on Christmas break to see the new additions. WOW It's quite an upgrade from when Chad Flack led the Cavs to their first state title in 2002 and the whole team dressed out in a 900 sq. ft. trailer. Here are some pics :

    A local carpenter built them. His son was a very good player at ER about 10 years ago. If you are interested in contacting him, let me know.
