    Eastern Wayne's John Wooten hits a solo home run in his first official at bat for the Pirates today. Pirates up 4-0 against Virginia in the fifth.

    Virginia wins Game 1, Pirates take Game 2. Rubber game today between 2 teams talented enough to make it to Omaha!

    Seems like ECU is having trouble keeping players on the team. I know they lost there starting short stop for the year. Going to be hard to replace that kid, he was doing really well.

    Not alot of talk going on about ECU. The Pirates are losing right now 8-2 to Rice mid-way thru their 1st game in the Con-USA Tourney. Anything short of winning the tourney & their season ends. Disappointing season about to come to an end.
