Well.... I did pretty good. I went 2-3 w/ one RBI and I flied out to right field. I realized today that it's a BIG change going from catcher to SS with a pitcher like Jenny Jackson throwing, because you're not in very many plays. Thank you again for the interest in my softball games and how I played. It's always great to know that someone all the way out there is there to back you up, so thanks.

its huge indeed, in on every pitch, play and the field is right in Front of you....now to half and half, great to see you are adjusting to your new and definitely important position on a state title contender.

JJ looks just as impressive from SS side of the field, dont she? Enjoy the season, the ride and stay focused on your team goals!! alot of us are watching and want to hear about Your progress as well! Keep up the good hitting and have a great week!

CBA hosted North Lenior tonight in a game between two teams that hadn't lost a game yet. North Lenior went in at 7-0 while CBA was at 6-0. The two pitchers did a great job of holding the batters and the fielders did what they needed. North Lenior was getting some pretty solid hits, while CBA was getting them too. In the end one team game out w/ the win, but both teams played a great game.

    CBA- 2
    N. Lenior- 0

The winning pitcher for CBA was Jenny Jackson. Hermia Humphry did a great job for North Lenior. Those are two great pitchers right there.

CBA made the 2 1/2 hour trip to West Carteret today. CBA's bats were hot and the defense was even better. Jenny Jackson pitched a one hitter into the 6th inning, when Brittani Edgerton came in and did a great job. The only problem was that as the defense changed the intensity level went down and Aycock allowed West Carteret to score. The final score:

    CBA- 9
    W. Carteret- 2

CBA continues the streak being 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the conference. I'm very proud of my team, and if we keep this up then there is no reason we can't win it all.

I hit pretty good tonight. I got a good hit to left field and then got an RBI. I only batted twice though because he put the other short stop in, who laid down two great bunts. Thanks for talking good, but what was it about?? LoL.

Tuesday we play South Central, and I know they're pretty good even though this is their first year having a varsity. But is there anyone who knows their record??
