Yes, South Central is a new school. They just started up last year. They're out of Pitt County... Greenville. I think they came from schools like Greenville Rose and DH Conley.

wilson fike scored the go-ahead run in the 10th inning and won by a score of 4-3. wilson hunt had runners on second and third in the 6th inning with 0 outs but failed to win the ballgame forcing the game into extra innings. In the eighth inning wilson hunt loaded the bases with 0 outs and still did not score the game winning run despite a sharply hit ball hit to left field with 1 out. freshman brittany farmer (dd) pitched the complete game for wilson hunt allowing 1 earned run while striking out 11 of the wilson fike hitters. this is the 4th game wilson hunt has lost by 1 run. it was a great game though!!!!!!

    Laney Rolls!

    Wilmington Laney 15 V
    West Brunswick 0

    Wilmington Laney 18 JV
    West Brunswick 0

Lisa White pitched a perfect game for the varsity as the varsity record improves to 7-2, 2-0 in conference play.

Ashley LaCock pitched another good game for the JV's, 13 k's, 1BB, 1 hit in five innings of work. Oh yeah, Ashley LaCock hit her first over the fence home run!!!

    Charles B. Aycock

    CBA- 1
    Washington-0

It was a pretty tight game, but Aycock holds their record to 10-0 and 6-0 in conference. I've got homework to do so I can't do much of a report, but the winning pitcher was Jenny Jackson.

CBA headed off to Eastern Wayne today and after what seemed to be a 3 hour game, Aycock got the win. The final score was CBA 5 and Eastern Wayne 0. CBA holds their record at 11-0 and 7-0 in conference.

Sorry I don't have time to give details again b/c it's 11:00, I'm exhausted, and I just got home. I will give you the details for both games tomorrow hopefully.
