    CBA headed over to North Lenior for their first game in almost 2 weeks. The game was very intense, but after 2 hours & 45 minutes and 12 innings CBA Golden Falcons took the lead and held it. The winning pitcher was Jenny Jackson. Both teams did an excellent job. CBA's record is now 12-0.

    hate layoffs during any sport season.......dont you? Great game and how did you do tonite??

    Looks like a Jenny Jackson-Katie Miller rematch brewing. Excitement in the East. These are two of the best pitchers in the state.

    seen both pitch and they are indeed right up there to answer that Call!

    Whats the date and location of this showdown....PLayoffs????, TP to save us all from looking it up...LOL thanks buddy!!!!!

    CF, they're both East. Played in last year's playoffs but I could not bring it up on google. The Outer Banks Sentinel has some membership crap going with its archives.

    sorry for the confusion.....but the best pitchers in the state statement cause me to say East vs West not them facing each other. just picking on my eastern friends as their are a few who can claim that "best pitchers in the state" and thats yet to be determined!!

    hate all the membership with the fishwraps archives......same here with shelby, gaston and other local papers and apparently other media outlets will get the word out!

    Yes, I sure do hate them too... we were supposed to have played 2 games over spring break against Hunt but they both got cancelled. I did pretty good, I went into the game doubting myself b/c last time we played them I had an off night. But I think this time I showed them that I could play. Although I only went up to hit once b/c our coach put a flex player in to bat since it was a non-conference game, but the one time I did bat I laid down a bunt. I did have a great spring break.

    I think Jenny Jackson is one of the best, if not the best, pitcher I've ever seen through out my years of traveling softball and school ball. Although this will be my 1st year in the play-offs if we get there, I think there could be a few that might be at her caliber. What school does Katie Miller go to??

    Pitch a Fit used to have a whole page on her but looks like its been removed. Long list of accomplishments, Manteo MVP/ All Conference since 9th grade, All State last year, plus lots of awards in AAU on the national level. Academic #1 in her class. Conference MVP in vollyball, led team to state finals. I think she could have gone most anywhere but according to the Outer Banks Sentinel chose GWU for its location.
