Got this from the Sentinel Archives on last years Miller-Jackson battle in the playoffs, but it's all they will let me have without paying them money so heck with them:

"'Skins drop to Aycock in second round
PIKEVILLE (May 27) -- A 15-plus-inning game would not have been out of reach Tuesday. But that's where the errors come into play - C.B. Aycock one, Manteo two. The Redskins' softball team was hurt by those errors as the Golden Falcons beat Manteo 2-0...

lol, sorry... I had to hurry up and write it before I had to pack to go to Virginia for the weekend. I did pretty good, made some decent plays at second and had some solid line drives but got robbed. Did you happen to have a good weekend??

Kinston traveled to the home of the Golden Falcons tonight. After 7 innings the CBA was ahead 2-0. What should have been a better game for CBA just wasn't, the hits weren't coming in at the right time and our intensity level was just down.

lol, that's the truth right there. I think the fact that we played 3 games last week and were tired, and then we didn't get to practice yesterday b/c of rain kind of held us up. But I'm not one for excuses.... we just didn't execute like we know how to. Thanks a lot for the luck.

CBA went to West Craven tonight and won the game 10-0 in 7 innings. Brittani Edgerton was the winning pitcher w/ a no hitter.
